Since April 1st, Barlow has used the hashtag #WydenWave seven times, but no one else has used it.
William Barlow compares himself to Lincoln and Biden in that he will "pour his whole soul into the task of bringing bipartisan unity to our country. William will do this not simply by representing America in a way that previous Senators have not, but by starkly creating a public understanding of why the America that is trying to be will be a more perfect version of the America that is" as he claims to be the “right person to answer the call of the moment.”
Prior to his candidacy for U.S. Senate, Barlow was appointed by Governor Brown to “assist the director of the Oregon Department of Consumer and Business Services administer the state’s electrical and elevator programs described in ORS 479 and ORS 46.” He also “enjoyed considering how to remove barriers that stand between the delivery of services within diverse communities” while servng on the Enrichment Services Advisory Committee for the City of McMinnville, known as MAC PAC, according to his campaign website.
